Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of registration. If enrolling for multiple weeks in the summer, a payment plan can be set up. However, a $50 non-refundable deposit per week is due at the time of registration, which is applied towards the balance of the camps. Single-day registration is offered during school break camps only. The deposit is still required for single-day registrations.

Withdrawal & Refund Policies

If it is necessary to withdraw your child, please refer to the information below regarding cancellations and refunds.

  • To receive a full refund, less the $50 non-refundable registration fee per week, we must receive written cancellation (email is accepted) no less than fourteen days prior to the start of camp.
  • Cancellations made less than fourteen days prior to the start of camp are not eligible for refunds, unless there is a severe medical or family emergency. In these rare cases, SCSC will evaluate the situation and decide regarding a refund. Additional documentation may be required.
  • If you need to change the week your child is enrolled, please contact us at least 14 days prior to the start of camp. We will be happy to change enrollment up to two weeks before the start of camp, if there is availability.

Arrival and Pick-up

Campers must be signed in & out each day. Please do not “drop” your child off at the door. A sign-in sheet will be in the tennis court. Campers should arrive at camp no later than 8:45am and be picked up no later than 4:15pm (unless before/after care is prearranged). Parents will need to fill out a form with the names of all individuals authorized to pick up their child from camp. Please be aware that everyone will be asked to show ID the first time they pick up their camper(s). To add or remove authorized individuals from the pick- up form, please see the camp staff to update the information. If your child will not be attending camp for a day, please call or email the Camp Director by 8:00am to notify the camp staff. If you need to pick up early or drop off late, please send a note with your child.

Extended Care

If your child will be participating in before and/or after care, please complete the Extended Care form and return it to SC-Fishers no later than one (1) week prior to your child’s start date. Staffing is based on the number of children registered and Extended Care will not be guaranteed if we are not notified one (1) week PRIOR. The cost is $8 per session, $30 for before or after care for the entire week, or $60 for before and after care for the entire week. Before care is offered 7:00-8:30am and after care is from 4:00-6:00pm.

Illness and Medical Treatment

The State Board of Health requires that all medication come to camp in the original container and be clearly labeled with the correct name, drug, and dosage schedule. The camp staff will not give campers any medication that is not properly labeled or that is not prescribed to your child. Please send only the medication needed for that day. Medications must be given to camp staff and not kept with your child, including over- the-counter medication. The only exception to this rule is regarding the use of epi-pens and inhalers. Campers who require immediate treatment from an epi-pen and/or inhaler will be able to carry it with him or her throughout the day or store it in their Camp Counselor’s backpack.

Camp staff will provide minor medical treatment. If your child becomes acutely ill during camp, our staff will contact you at the emergency numbers provided on the registration form. If your child has been exposed to a contagious illness, has had a fever or diarrhea 24-hours before attending camp, please call our office to discuss rescheduling your child’s camp week. If you need to contact the camp staff during camp hours, please call the office at (317) 773-7399 x2. A message will be given to the camp staff and they will return your call as soon as they can. You are welcome to email the camp director to discuss any questions or concerns.

Weather

Camp is held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather children are brought into the designated safe area. The office staff monitors the weather continually throughout the day. Rainy day activities are planned by the camp staff to ensure your child has a good time. Please send a raincoat and rain boots on rainy days.

Photos and Social Media

During camp, staff take a lot of photographs of the activities, sports, campers, and crafts. We often use these photographs in advertisements, flyers, and in informational materials. We, also, share photos on our social media sites. If you do not wish to have your child’s image used, please let us know. A photo release form is provided. Please complete the form and return it with the other camp materials.

Camp Registration Packet

The camp packet is posted online in May.
